Why did Ben Lose 55 Pounds?

Napier lost weight because his weight was starting to become a big problem. Because of his negative eating habits and not caring about his weight, he had gained a lot of extra pounds. The main task now was to shed it. But all of this was second consideration.

The main reason behind Ben’s huge weight loss is his newborn daughter, Helen. Talking about which, he said, “Bringing Helen home and getting to experience those first few weeks with her and seeing how fast things change with children, it got my attention.”

He added, “She was different every day, and I want to experience as much of her life as possible. I want a long life so I can be there for Erin and Helen.” Yes, Ben was concerned about his health but he was concerned because he wanted to be there for his family.

“I come from a long line of big men who don’t really discuss their health until it’s an issue,” Ben wrote on Instagram,

“Although I have made efforts to eat healthily and to exercise, it never seemed more real until I held this blue-eyed girl that is equal parts Erin and me and a whole lot more than I deserve in my arms. I never want to leave her side.”

How did Ben Lose Weight?

Ben lost weight because he made some big changes to the way he ate. He reduced his daily calorie intake from 3000 calories to 2000 calories. Along with that he also did a lot of working out. Napier got involved in sports such as basketball and running.

This proved to be very helpful in slimming down. “I don’t get bored playing basketball, and could play for hours if I had the time. I’ve also done some intermittent fasting a couple of days a week,” he told People.

At first, intermittent fasting seemed quite hard, however, with the passage of time, Napier built strong habits of resistance to his favorite food and thinking only about his family.

His wife, Erin, also helped Ben a lot in his weight loss journey. The good news is that after losing weight, Ben’s health is gotten better and he is feeling energized and in good shape.

Before & After Weight Loss

At one point in his life, Napier weighed more than 300 pounds. However, after losing 55 pounds, his current weight is between 240 and 245 pounds. Napier stands tall at 6 ft 6 in.

The British radio host, Chris Moyles, has recently shocked his fans by losing 84 pounds.
